The problem

Export runs on documents, and the documents still run on spreadsheets.

A shipment is assembled across email, shared folders and a trade-finance spreadsheet, and the proforma, the packing list and the letter of credit are expected to agree. One mismatch holds a container at the port. A discrepant presentation under a letter of credit costs a fee at best and the payment at worst. And the set is not one job: some documents you issue yourself, others a chamber, a laboratory or an inspector issues for you, each on its own clock.

The platform

One record carries the order from first inquiry to settlement.

Five modules share the same order record, so a figure entered once is the same figure on the quote, the invoice, the packing list and the cost report.

  1. 01IntelligenceKnow what the order needs before the quote goes out.Document rules read the destination, mode, Incoterm, payment terms and HS chapter to set the documents an order requires. The quote margin counts landed cost, at an exchange rate locked when the quote is submitted.
  2. 02OperationsLead to delivery, stage by stage.Leads, inquiries, quotes and orders on one line. Every stage from draft to closed has an owner, a permission and the conditions it must meet before the order can move.
  3. 03DocumentsProduce, chase, verify.What you issue is generated from the order. What a carrier, a chamber or an authority issues is tracked from requested to verified. Letters of credit, their presentations and amendments sit here too.
  4. 04FinanceMargin during the deal, not after it.Cost lines by category and supplier, payments against them, rates held against your base currency, and forward contracts allocated to receivables. A variance beyond tolerance waits for a manager's approval.
  5. 05MarketplaceThe counterparties around the shipment.Freight requests for quote compared line by line, with the winning quote posted to the order's costs. Pre-shipment inspection, suppliers and consolidation, sanctions-screening tasks and carrier milestones.

Government position

Expodite sits in front of the state systems, never in place of them.

Nafeza and GOEIC hold the authority and remain the systems of record. Expodite's job is to make what reaches them complete and consistent the first time. It prepares the data; it does not file, submit or clear on anyone's behalf.

Egypt's national single window for foreign trade. Filings are made there by the exporter or their broker, from data Expodite keeps consistent across every document.

GOEIC

Authority

The General Organization for Export and Import Control keeps the exporters' register and issues certificates of origin on its own forms. Expodite tracks each certificate from requested to verified, and never issues one.

Expodite is not a customs broker, a freight forwarder or a bank.

Your buyer follows the shipment without an account.

Each shipment can carry a token-protected tracking link. The buyer opens it and sees the carrier's milestones, the vessel and the dates, in English or Arabic, and nothing commercial: no prices, no costs, no margins.
